Site preparation

The walls where the door will be installed must be able to hold the door in its installed position. Suitable materials are Ytong, Porotherm, brick, timber beam, ceramic lintel and reinforced concrete.

The ceiling or lintel must be load bearing enough to anchor the pivot hinge or the frame. Sliding doors also need a sufficiently solid wall on the side the door slides onto.

Underfloor heating is not an obstacle, we anchor to a depth of 30 mm. Only fixed panels are anchored into the floor, never the door itself.

Preparing for the survey

You can carry out the survey yourself using a protocol we prepare in advance, or you can order a professional survey by our trained technician.

After the survey we prepare a preview of the product for your approval, before production begins.
